Get crystal clear on who your dream subscriber is and why they should even care about what you’re offering.


Step 2: Solve One Painful Problem

Your lead magnet needs to solve a real, felt pain point.
(Not just “5 random tips” they could find on Google.)

When your freebie feels like a must-have, signing up becomes a no-brainer.


Step 3: Craft a Lead Magnet That Aligns to Your Offer

Your lead magnet shouldn’t just attract people, it should pre-frame them to want your offer later.
Think ahead: does this freebie naturally set up what you’ll eventually sell?


Step 4: Set Up a Landing Page That Converts

Don’t bury your offer in a cluttered page.
Clear headline.
One strong CTA.
Make it ridiculously easy to say YES.


Step 5: Create a Welcome Sequence That Feels Human

First impressions matter.
Automated doesn’t mean robotic.
Welcome them with warmth, value, and a
little bit of you.


Step 6: Promote with Purpose, Not Panic

Stop randomly posting your lead magnet link everywhere like confetti.
Instead:
➡️ Integrate it naturally into your content.
➡️ Build curiosity around it.
➡️ Invite, don't beg.


Step 7: Show Up Consistently (Even When It’s Quiet)

List-building is a marathon, not a viral moment.
Keep showing up even when it feels slow, that’s where momentum is built.


Step 8: Focus on Value Over Volume

Don’t just blast emails because it’s “Thursday and I need to send something.”
Send
good emails, the ones your audience actually looks forward to opening.


Step 9: Optimize (Because It’s Never One and Done)

Watch your email open rates.
